Grendon Show - Rules 2026

Entry Fees - Adults 40p - Children 20p per Class

ANY EXHIBITOR MAY ONLY ENTER ONE ITEM IN ANY CLASS

Entries to be submitted on the entry forms provided by 7.00 pm. Friday 11th September.  Grendon Village Hall will be open to receive entries between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm

Late entries cannot be accepted.

Exhibits may be set out in the hall from 9.00 a.m. until 10.45 a.m. on the Saturday. All the exhibitors must leave the hall once setting out is complete to allow later exhibitors room in which to work. Only show stewards may move or re-arrange exhibits: their assistance should be requested.  Their decision is final.

Entries will be accepted by any of the Organising Committee up  to 7 pm on Friday 11th September 2026 Please refer to the Contact page for the committee's contact details.

A Family Trophy & Voucher will be awarded to the family with the most accumulated points. A “family” is defined as group of four or fewer related people with a maximum of two adults over 16 years old and at least one child under 16 years old.

Where the number in the family group exceeds four people then only the four highest scores will be used to calculate the accumulated points.

Please add the names of your family to your entry form and advise the steward that you wish to enter the “Family Trophy” when submitting your entry form.

Exhibitors must use their own plates or vases, except when stated.

10.45 am doors will close for judging. Nobody except Stewards and the Secretary may be present during judging.

Exhibits not for sale must be identified by “Not for Sale” labels (available from stewards) and removed from display before the Auction Sale of Produce commences. (Please contact a steward to arrange for Not for Sale exhibits to be removed from display if you are unable to attend the show before the Auction Sale of Produce commences). All exhibits NOT marked “Not for Sale” will be sold.
