Section 2 - Cut Flowers

Class 22 - 1 Vase  Dahlia, any variety

Class 23 - 1 Vase 3 French or African Marigolds

Class 24 - 1 Vase 1 Gladioli

Class 25 - 1 Vase 3 Hosta Leaves

Class 26 - 1 Vase 3 Penstemons

Class 27 - 3 Floating Flower Heads in a maximum 20cm (8") diameter bowl

Class 28 - 1 Vase 3 Roses

Class 29 - Fragrant Rose - Shown in tube provided.

Class 30 - Mixed garden flowers shown in vessel provided.

Class 31 - 1 vase of Decorative Grasses shown in vessel provided.

Class 32 - My favourite garden flower

Section 3 Flower Arrangement

Class 33 – 35  Flowers used in Flower Arrangements may be shop bought and arrangements may include foliage and fruit.

Class 33 -“Harvest Time” (max dimension, any direction 24”) Flowers, foliage and fruit – 3 accessories max.     

       

Class 34 - “A book title” (max width/depth 12”, max height 24”) – Optional 3 accessories max. Please include the written book title on the display.

 

Class 35 - “Arrangement in a wine glass”. Only fresh materials may be used

 

Section 4 - Cookery & Preserves​

​

Class 37  -  1 jar Blackberry Jam

Class 38  -  1 jar Citrus marmalade

Class 39  -  1 jar Any chutney

Class 40  -  1 jar Lemon Curd

​

Classes 37 - 40 to be presented in 3/4 to 1lb Jar with cellophane top No Screw tops

​

41 - 4 decorated cupcakes - Can be home-made or shop bought, judged on decoration 

42 - Sultana and Marmalade tea loaf - Recipe below

43 - Any loaf of bread, hand or machine-made

44 - Men only – Four Cheese Scones

44a - Novice Class – Four Flapjacks

45 - 6 Fresh eggs

Paper plates will be provided for classes 41 - 44a
